Paper Sombrero Craft | Manualidad de sombrero de papel

Create this paper sombrero craft (sombrero de papel) for yourself, or give it as a gift to a friend!

You will need:

 

🌟Toilet paper cardboard roll (Rollo de cartón de papel higiénico)

🌟Black cardstock or construction paper (Cartulina negra o cartulina)

🌟Scissors (Tijeras)

🌟Pencil (Lápiz)

🌟Glue (Pegamento)

🌟Paint: black, red, and yellow (Pintura: negra, roja y amarilla)

🌟Paint brush (Pincel)

 

Instructions:

 

English:

 

  1. Draw a large circle on the black paper. You can use a bowl or other circular object for reference.
  2. Cut the cardboard roll in half.
  3. Glue the cardboard roll in the middle of the black paper circle.
  4. Glue the top edges of the cardboard roll together. Paint the cardboard roll black.
  5. Paint a red line around the outer edge of the black paper. Let dry and paint multiple layers until the red shows clearly. Let it dry. 
  6. Paint yellow designs on top of the red layer (see video for an example). Let it dry.
  7. Enjoy!

 

Español:

 

  1. Dibuja un círculo grande en el papel negro. Puedes utilizar un cuenco u otro objeto circular como referencia.
  2. Corta el rollo de cartón por la mitad.
  3. Pega el rollo de cartón en el medio del círculo de papel negro.
  4. Pegue los bordes superiores del rollo de cartón. Pinta el rollo de cartón de negro.
  5. Pinta una línea roja alrededor del borde exterior del papel negro. Deje secar y pinte varias capas hasta que el rojo se vea claramente. Déjalo secar.
  6. Pinte diseños amarillos encima de la capa roja (vea el video para ver un ejemplo). Déjalo secar.
  7. ¡Disfruta!
